Kasteel Museum Sypesteyn

Sypesteyn Castle is situated right in the centre of the Netherlands, 30 minutes from Amsterdam and Utrecht. The beautiful garden is designed in the style of ca. 1600 and is a national historical monument in itself, with exotic trees and other magnificent flora. The castle is more or less a 'folly' with a fascinating art collection with, a.o., 17th century paintings by Jan van Ravensteyn, Michel van Miereveld, Nicolaas Maes en Cornelis Troost. Including a great collection of 18th century porcelain.
