Step aboard Natuurmonumenten's whisper boat and come discover the Naardermeer!

Discover the special history and the rich plant and animal life in the Netherlands' first protected nature reserve. During this open-ended whisper boat trip, you will sail over the natural lake as well as through narrow ditches surrounded by reed beds and swamp forest. An oasis of peace in the middle of the Randstad.

The boat guide of Natuurmonumenten tells stories about the history of the Naardermeer and the nature around you. Please note that the main language will be Dutch, but you will still have an incredible experience. Along the way, you have a chance to see different species of birds and get out to 'dance on floating land'. You might see the blue flash of a kingfisher shooting by or see a grass snake sunbathing on the reed bed.
